GREEN ENERGY IMPROVEMENT is a building performance company specializing in residential energy assessments and energy efficiency upgrades throughout Chicago and Cook County.  The company’s services include: energy assessments, air sealing, insulation, duct sealing, windows, hot water heaters, heating and cooling systems and Illinois Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® Certifications.

Green Energy Improvement is a participating contractor with Illinois Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® and Energy Impact Illinois and is qualified to offer rebates through The Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas Natural Gas Savings Programs and the Nicor Gas/ComEd Home Energy Savings Program. Green Energy Improvement is also approved to offer on-bill financing to qualified Nicor customers. The company also participated in the Aurora Energy Saver Program in 2010 and the Chicagoland Air Sealing Pilot Program in 2011.

Green Energy Improvement employs full-time professionals with the following certifications: Building Analyst Professional, Envelope Professional and Whole House Air Leakage Control Installer (WHALCI) by the Building Performance Institute (BPI), Duct & Envelope Tightness Verifier by the Illinois Association of Energy Raters (IAER), lead-safe certified renovator, Illinois Residential Real Estate Appraiser, and licensed and insured general contractor. The company’s diagnostics include blower door, infrared imaging, and CAZ testing for identifying and implementing air sealing and insulation improvements.
